Millard South 28 Columbus 26
#6 Caleb Coyle (Millard South) vs Blake Cerny (Columbus)

Returning state finalist Coyle will be gunning for a pin against freshman Cerny. Cerny owns a 19-6 record and has only lost to ranked wrestlers in Class A and B, and one wrestler from Wyoming.
Jeremy McKee (Millard South)  vs #6 Clay Cerny (Columbus)
With former state champion Blake Jackson out for the Patriots, this gives returning state medalist Cerny a big opportunity to earn bonus points for his home team.
Garrett Carbullido (Millard South)  vs #4 Tanner Kobza (Columbus)
Kobza has wrestled most of the season at 126 and is favored, but don’t count out Carbullido.
#3 Conor Knopick (Millard South) vs Carsen Marking (Columbus)
Knopick has been dominating this year, with 17 bonus point wins and only one loss in sudden victory to an opponent from Kansas at the Council Bluffs Classic. Look for Knopick to earn bonus points tonight.
#3 Antrell Taylor (Millard South) vs #5 Carter Kucera (Columbus)
Freshmen usually have a tough time facing a senior who owns 3 state medals in his home gym, but Taylor has done nothing but impress this season. This should be a battle from whistle to whistle.
#2 Tyler Antoniak (Millard South)  vs Alex Korte (Columbus)
Freshman Antoniak has been on a mission this season, losing only to out-of-state wrestlers and returning state champion Maxx Mayfield. Korte has been having a solid season, but Antoniak has a common opponent win over him.
Shane Quandt (Millard South) vs Rylee Iburg (Columbus)
Sophomore Quandt will be looking to prove his mettle with a win over Iburg.
Alex Vacha (Millard South) vs Cade Fullner (Columbus)
This will be a battle between seniors who are both in the hunt for state medals at this weight.
Seth Rakes (Millard South) vs #5 Avery McMeekin (Columbus)
Senior McMeekin will be hunting for bonus points against Rakes who is 3rd on the depth chart for the Patriots.
Krew Tran (Millard South) vs Blayze Standley (Columbus)
Another battle of seniors, with Standley having the edge as he has been more consistent this season.
#2 Isaac Trumble (Millard South) vs #1 Carson Zwingman (Columbus)
Both had active summers, with both competing for Team Nebraska at Jr Duals this past summer. Trumble has pinned 21 of 22 of his opponents, while Zwingman has collected bonus points in 23 of 24 matches this season. This should be a preview of the 182A State Finals or State Semifinals.
#3 Josh Trumble (Millard South) vs #2 Anthony DeAnda (Columbus)
Trumble finished 6th at 170, while DeAnda was the 195 runner-up. Both have faced top-ranked Dillyn Miller of Omaha Burke, with Trumble losing 9-5 and DeAnda losing 15-7. Will Trumble have enough offense to penetrate DeAnda’s positioning? Both wrestlers have spent quite a bit of time in the weight room, so this will be a physical war.
#3 Gavin Peitzmeier (Millard South) vs #2 Kasten Grape (Columbus)
Grape leads the state in pins, and only one of his opponents has made it to the 3rd period this season. Peitzmeier is the returning state runner-up at this weight and has committed to wrestle at Chadron State.
Chris Wortman (Millard South) vs #6 Eddie Loredo
Wortman has a common opponent win over Loredo, but Wortman is an undersized heavyweight. Loredo tends to struggle with heavyweights bigger than him, so this should be a heads up match.
