The school sent out this following release on the reinstatement of Jake Judge.
Dear West Holt Community –
This last Saturday there was a lot of concern over a situation at the District D-2 Wrestling Tournament.
The West Holt administration appealed the situation to the NSAA in hopes that they would understand the circumstances of the situation and reinstate Jake Judge to be able to wrestle in the NSAA State Wrestling Championships.
I am pleased to announce that Dr. Tenopir and the NSAA has decided to reinstate Jake Judge to Wrestle at the 2017 State Wrestling Championships!
West Holt Public Schools asks that all contact to the NSAA come through the school, and not to contact their office personally anymore.
At this time, we consider the issue solved, and we all need to move on in a positive manner to make the 2017 State Wrestling Championships as awesome an experience as possible for our team.
Finally, it is an expectation of our school and the administration that all interactions and cheers directed toward Nebraska Christian, and Jaydon Elge be positive in nature. Booing or other negative comments will not be tolerated.
Sincerely,
Paul Pistulka
Superintendent
