This week had a really light schedule due to many tournaments being canceled
because the weather. But there were a couple of tournaments that were able to dodge postponing their tourneys by competing on Saturday.

Fran Jorgenson Holiday Classic (Cambridge):
11 teams were able to make it to the Cambridge invite on Saturday, where Cambridge finished runner-up to class C top 10 Broken Bow.

Notable Matches:
-170 Preston Walker of Elm Creek defeated #6 Dalton Shimmin of Arapahoe 3-2
-285 #3 Noah Wadleigh Arapahoe defeated #5 Tyler Schultz Cambridge by fall.

Kearney Catholic Duals:
Amherst and North Platte St. Pats from Class D competed at the Kearney
Catholic Duals on Saturday. Amherst was able to go 3-1 in duals on the day, defeating Gibbon 42-39, NPSP 48-30, and Kearney High JV 46-26. The only loss for
the Broncos on the day was to Class C Kearney Catholic 36-33. Although they lost in the final pool, all teams in that pool went 1-1 so the Broncos still won the team title. North Platte St. Pats went 1-3 on the day losing to Amherst 48-30, Gibbon 39-30, and Southern Valley 36-24. The Irish were able to come away with a win in their final dual of the day over Ravenna with criteria in a 36-36 tie.

-106 #4 Isaiah Shield of Amherst defeated C 106 #4 Layne Shiers of Kearney Catholic 6-5
-138 #3 Brett Riggs of NPSP defeated previously ranked Sam Florell of Amherst by fall. The match was 11-7 in favor of Riggs at the time the fall occurred.
