Are you a high school senior from the state of Nebraska who has been involved in wrestling or know someone who is?

NEwrestle will be rewarding our second annual $500 college scholarship to a high school male and female senior from the state of Nebraska who either wrestled or was heavily involved (manager, cheerleader, etc…) in the sport of wrestling in high school and plans to attend college after high school graduation. Last years winners were Evan Canoyer and Ally Micheel.

If you are truly passionate about wrestling and want to continue your education, then NEwrestle is looking for you! Please write a short essay about how wrestling has impacted your life and how you plan to continue to be involved in wrestling in the future. College wrestler, manager, cheerleader, coaching, journalism, or just being an avid supporter.

Essays should also include your contact information as well as the email for your high school guidance counselor or athletic director should we have any questions.

Please include a copy of your high school transcripts. Recipients will be expected to maintain a 3.0 grade point average in their first semester of college and the $500 scholarship will be awarded during the second semester.

All essays and transcripts can be emailed to NEwrestlecontact@gmail.com.
All application materials need to be received by May 15th. Please direct questions to NEwrestlecontact@gmail.com

Thank you for being involved with our great sport and we look forward to hearing from you about why you love wrestling!
