C3 was probably the toughest and deepest district in Class C this season. Aquinas again had a magnificent showing like they’ve done all season. They were nearly 40 points ahead of Milford for the district title and qualified 11 wrestlers for the state tournament. Milford was impressive as well finishing nearly 50 points ahead of #4 Logan View. The Eagles qualified 10 wrestlers while Logan View had six district finalists and state qualifiers.

The big matches are almost too many to name. We’ll focus on the top four matches. At 126 #3 Konner Schluckebier beat #4 Zach Zitek 5-3. The 138 final saw #2 Hunter Vandenberg controlling #4 Valdivia 5-0. At 145 #3 Chris Nickolite won over #4 McNulty 7-2. The match of the day went down at 160 with #2 Gavin Zoucha getting a 9-7 win over #1 Eller. 195 #2 Kyle Sterup won 13-7 over #3 Booth in their second meeting the past two weeks.
