The Bulldogs won 4 of 5 duals, and were led by Nate Rubino (106), Jakason Burks (120), James Burks (160/170), and Dillyn Miller (195) who posted undefeated records and combined for 13 falls, 1 tech fall, and 1 major decision. Trey Nielsen (145), Deson Stapleton (152/160), and Austin Dougherty (182) only lost one match on the day.

2. Lincoln East (6th at Council Bluffs Classic)
The Spartans finished 2nd highest out of the 12 Nebraska teams who competed in this tournament. Maxx Mayfield (138) blitzed the field earning bonus points in all 8 matches, including 4 falls and 4 major decisions. Brandon Baustert Jr (106) and Grant Lyman both finished 3rd, and combined for 4 falls, 3 tech falls, and 1 major decision. Their lone losses were to the eventual runner-up in their respective weight classes. Nathan Rizek (120) finished 7th and racked up 4 pins, while Chris Karmazin (195) finished 9th and Nic Swift (113) finished 10th.

3. Millard South (4th at Council Bluffs Classic)
The Patriots placed the highest out of the 12 Nebraska teams who competed in this tournament. The undefeated Trumble brothers led the way again this week with championship performances. Isaac won the the 182 bracket winning 8 matches and recording 7 falls, while Josh won the 195 bracket winning 6 matches and recording 3 falls and 1 major decision. Antrell Taylor finished 2nd at 132 losing only to Cornell commit and top ranked Phillip Moomey. He also won 2 matches over ranked opponents over the weekend.. Conor Knopick (126) finished 3rd winning 7 of 8 matches with 3 falls and 1 tech fall, losing only to the eventual runner-up. Caleb Coyle (106) finished 5th, Gavin Peitzeier (220) finished 6th and Tyler Antoniak (138) finished 8th to round out the top 10 finishers for the Patriots.

The Discoverers dominated the competition outscoring their 10 opponents by a combined score of 682-58. Seven wrestlers posted undefeated records at the tournament including Blake Cerny (106), Andon Stenger (113), Clay Cerny (120), Carter Kucera (132), Carson Zwingman (182), Anthony DeAnda (195), and Kasten Grape (220). Together, they recorded 50 falls. Finishing with only one loss were Tanner Kobza (126), Avery McMeekin (160) and Eddie Loredo (285).

5. Kearney (5th at Council Bluffs Classic)
The Bearcats were the 2nd highest placing Nebraska team thanks to top 10 performances by 9 of their wrestlers. Phillip Moomey (132) led the way with an 8-0 record including 5 falls on his way to a 1st place finish. Fellow senior Nick James (145) finished 2nd as he recorded 5 tech falls and 1 fall over the weekend. Gus Franzen (5th at 170) and Gage Ferguson (6th at 126) were the next highest placers, thenHunter Nagatani (8th at 113), Rylie Steele (8th at 120), Archer Heelan (9th at 106), Gauge McBride (9th at 138) and Carter Abels (9th at 160) rounded out the others placing in the top 10.

Seniors Nolan Niemiec (132) and Creighton Baughman (145) both placed 4th and combined for 5 falls and 4 major decisions. Carson Maas finished 6th at 182, Cole Price finished 10th at 152, and Cody Niemiec (126) won 2 matches by fall before losing 4-3 to the eventual runner-up from Liberty before injury defaulting his next match.

7. Grand Island (8th at Council Bluffs Classic)
The Islanders received solid performances via seven top 10 finishers. Leading the way, senior Aidan Williams (3rd at 160) recorded 5 falls and only lost to the eventual runner-up, while Daylon Keolavone (4th at 195) recorded 2 falls and won 4 matches. Blake Cushing (6th at 113) avenged an early tournament loss while Ethan McPhillips finished 7th at 285. Juan Pedro (106), Kolby Lucasiewicz (132) and Oscar Richter (182) all finished in 10th place.

8. Norfolk (7-3 record at Nebraska Duals)
The Panthers won 7 of 10 duals and were led by Josh Licking (152) and Conner Cowling (285) who posted undefeated records and combined for 14 falls. Weston Godfrey (120) went 6-2 while Brayden Splater (160) and Creighton Blain (182) went 7-3

The Chieftains won 4 of 5 duals to finish second at their home tournament. The Grice brothers led the way, as both Gabe (106) and Garrett (113) pinned every one of their opponents. Daniel DeRosier (126) Caelan Hester (132) and Collin Mutzenberger (138) each went 4-1 and combined for 7 falls, 1 tech fall, and 1 major decision. Brett Olson (160) and James Larson (170) both went 3-2 on the day.

The Eagles were led by Emilio Haynes (113) and Deon Davis (145) who both won their brackets and scored bonus points in every one of their matches. Jacob Frezell-McClinton finished 2nd at 285, while Ryan Turner finished 3rd at 120. Ka’Ron Davis (182) and Jacob Hilding (195) both finished 4th in their respective brackets.
