Bellevue East won this 16-team tournament that included teams from Missour and Kansas. The Chieftains outscored the 2nd place team by 20 points on the strength of champions Derek Wagstaff (138) and Joel Anstine (285). Doug Cheek (113), Gabriel Jeffrey (182) and Ricky Bollinger finished as runner-ups, and three others finished in the top 4 of their respective weight classes.
Gator Invite (Northstar HS):
Brayden Smith (106), Phillip Moomey (120), Nick James (132), Teontae Wilson (145), Tyler Tracy (182), and Lee Herrington (285) took home individual titles for Kearney, while Rylie Steel (113) and Izzy Bautista (220) placed second. The Bearcats took an extra 7 wrestlers who wrestled unattached, and four of them placed in the top 4 of their weight classes. Finishing as team runner-up was

Morrison had a solid 5-2 win over a dangerous 2nd ranked class B opponent and pinned the 6th ranked wrestler in class D. Morrison’s only loss was to the 3rd ranked wrestler in class C.

Beatrice Invitational:
Lincoln Southeast (3rd) was the highest placing class A school with Papio South (6th) and Lincoln Northeast (7th) also representing class A. The Knights saw Adam Kinnaman (126) and Chance Fry (132) win back to back tournament titles and Fry won 5-1 over a two-time defending state champion in the finals. Arman Erickson (113) finished 2nd while Nathan Gunther (145) and Logan Froistad (285) both finished 3rd. Papillion- La Vista South had two champions in Gabe Durden (106) and John Hamilton (195). Both champions earned bonus point wins in all 4 of their matches and Durden beat two ranked class B opponents. Josh Benak (145) finished 2nd and Caleb Connor (120) finished 3rd for the Titans. Lincoln Northeast had two finalists in Caden Frazier (126) and Mar’San Casteneda (285), while Corbin Sindel (132) and Jacob Sabin (138) finished 3rd.
