Tom Dineen Invitational (Creighton Prep):
Millard West won the team title with 4 champions including Cole Zebley (113), Jack Huffman (120), Matt Sorich (170) and Alex Dukart (220) and 2 runner-ups Levi May (132) and Ben Holman (138). Papillion-La Vista took home the runner-up team trophy with Cody Niemiec (106) winning his bracket and three runner-ups in Nolan Niemiec (113), Reid Dasher (120), and Cole Patterson (285). Omaha Burke finished .5 points behind the Monarchs on the strength of champion James Burks (152), runner-ups Dillyn Miller (182) and Norman Carr (220) and third place finishers Dion Bonam (113), Aeneas Renfrow (120), and Dylan Sales (195). Adam Kinnaman (126) and Chance Fry (132) each earned 2 falls on their way to titles for Lincoln Southeast. The other 5 champions from Nebraska schools included Ronniel Wells of Omaha North (138), Eamon Morrison of Creighton Prep (145)
Joshua Guerra of Lincoln Pius X (160), Darlondo Hill of Omaha Westside (182) and
Mohammed Majid of Lincoln High (285).

Notes:
-The 106 and 113 finals were excellent matches with all four wrestlers fighting tooth and nail the entire time.
-Adam Kinnaman lost 4-2 loss to Dae’Kwon Seavers at the Fracas, but won 14-4 in a rematch in the 126 finals.
-James Burks was name Outstanding Wrestler as he stopped Josh Jansa’s streak of 18 consecutive pins on the season with a 11-7 win in the 152 finals
-Matt Sorich’s return to competition was impressive as he beat #4 and returning state placer Levi Miller in the 170 finals.
-This was the weekend to be unranked at 285 as Majid of Lincoln High and Patterson of Papio both beat ranked wrestlers to advance to the finals. Unranked Derek Bithell won a marathon match over #2 Farber of Pius also.

David Mendoza (113) 2 wins from finishing in the top 8, while Emerson Urbina (126) and Kolton Sliva (132) both needed 1 more win to finish in the top 8.
