Paul Garcia, Maxx Mayfield and Jackson Nielsen will compete in a youth dual before the annual NWCA All-Star Classic that pits the best in the NCAA against each other. This event will take place in Denver on November 2nd, and the three wrestlers will be facing some of Colorado’s best wrestlers on the same elevated mat that the college wrestlers will use later on in the evening.

Paul Garcia will face All-American and Colorado Freestyle/Greco Champion Angelo Lozado. Lozado beat Garcia 13-8 in Freestyle at Fargo this past July. Garcia won the 2018 Class B 106 State Championship and recently finished 4th at the Journeymen Classic in New York.

Maxx Mayfield will face UWW Triple Crown Winner Mosha Schwartz. Schwartz is also PanAm double gold winner in both Freestyle and Greco. Mayfield recently won the Fall Brawl tournament and Preseason Nationals.

Jackson Nielsen will face Colorado State Runner-Up and Fargo Freestyle/Greco All-American Wyatt Yapoujian. Nielsen won the Class B 113 State Championship, was a UWW All-American in the spring, and finished 5th at Preseason Nationals last weekend.
