The Bearcats thrust 3 wrestlers into the finals and Lee Herrington (285) was their lone champion. Herrington record 4 falls on his way to the title while Phillip Moomey (120) and Nick James (132) lost to returning Fargo champions in the finals. Moomey’s bracket included 4 Fargo All-Americans, and he earned an 8-0 win in the semifinals over a returning state finalist from Kansas. James beat a returning state champion from Kansas in his semifinal match. Brayden Smith (106) posted a 5-2 record finishing 5th, Teontae Wilson (145) posted a 3-3 record on his way to finishing 6th. Smith only lost to the eventual 3rd and 4th place finishers while Wilson lost to the eventual 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Sean Jackson finished 6th at 195 after rattling off 3 straight wins in consolation.
