Neligh-Oakdale set themselves up well for a good run in Omaha. They qualified eight wrestlers and had three district champs. Thayer Central edged Winside for second.

Top ranked Dayton Gipe remained unbeaten on the season with his second win in as many weeks over #3 Ellis 4-0 to win 120. At 145 #2 Gabe Escalante had an impressive first period fall over #3 Stewart. #1 Aiden Kuester beat a very good #5 Belina 5-2 to win 160.

The weight of the day and performance of the day was at 170. #1 Conner Schutz pinned his way through the bracket with wins over #5 Pohlman and #2 Bayer. Bayer beat #4 Vortherms in the semifinals. Pohlman beat Vortherms for third. Tough weight when four out of the top five are coming out of the same district!
