A3 had two of the deepest teams in class in the field with North Platte and Papillion LaVista. It was a neck and neck battle throughout the day with North Platte coming out on top by 3.5 points. North Platte had five individual champions with Brock Little, Jaylan Ruffin, Darian Diaz, Gavyn Brauer and Vincent Genatone all coming out on top. The Monarchs had 4 district champions with Jacob Campbell, Jack Hamilton, Nick Hamilton, and Cole Price all coming out on top. #3 Darian Diaz defeated #4 Ian Rudner 9-4 in the 138 pound championship. #7 Cameron Cunningham defeated #2 Guillermo Espinoza in the semifinals. Malachi Alley defeated #8 Alex Morris twice Saturday to finish in third at 182. At 220, #9 Breckyn Heiman defeated #8 Kaden Johnson and #3 Garrett Moser on the way to his district championship. In the best match of the day, it was #2 Zeph Sivels fight off his back and down in the match to get a fall in the final minute over #9 Tyson Danner.
