Beatrice came, they saw, they conquered. They won the subdistrict by 71 points over runner up Norris and 127 points over third place Ashland. Beatrice is a contender to win the state title and needed to get as many wrestlers to districts as they could. They succeeded by qualifying all fourteen wrestlers. They had seven wrestlers win their weight classes. Runner up Norris qualified eleven wrestlers for districts.
At 138 #2 Trevor Reinke bested #4 Adam Kruse in a close 3-1 match.
160 had a great finals match between #7 Koch and one of our under the radar wrestlers in Elkhorn freshman Mason Villwok. That could be a match we see next week as well.
