Blair had a good day taking home the Subdistrict win twelve wrestlers advancing to districts even without Landon Templar and Yoan Camejo in the lineup. The Bears had four wrestlers finish number one overall.
Runner up York had eleven wrestlers advance, also having four wrestlers finish in first.
The 132 final had to be an exciting one with #6 Kaleb Eliker of York edging out #4 Reece Jaqua 10-9.
At 182 #7 Korth avenged an earlier loss to #6 Hanson in the semifinals. Korth won by forfeit in the finals over Kaden Lyons, who beat a solid Tommy Gilbert in the semis. Good weight class.
Didn’t get the #2 vs #3 match at 195 between Larsen and Cotton either. Cotton missed a few weeks earlier with injury but expect him to be good to go next week.
