Phillip Moomey was confident and in control of his 5 matches at Fall Brawl in Kansas City yesterday. Moomey marched through the 120lb bracket which included 8 state medalists in total. He earned 3 falls, a 13-4 major decision, and a 6-2 win while beating 3 state placers on his way to the title.

Josh Licking of Norfolk used an 11-9 sudden victory win and 2 falls to place 2nd in the Jr High 140-150lb bracket. Cody Everhart of Gretna used 2 falls, a major decision and an overtime victory in the semis to advance to the finals of the 152lb High School division. He lost a razor thin 7-5 match in overtime to a 2x State Champion from Kansas.
