Wrestling media site Flowrestling continues to unveil their preseason college rankings and for the second straight day a University of Nebraska wrestler finds themselves in the top ten. After his 2016 All-American finish, Cornhusker senior Eric Montoya will start the season ranked No. 4 according to Flowrestling.

It doesn’t figure to be an easy season for Montoya, with the Big Ten conference dominating the top ten rankings. Directly ahead of Montoya in the rankings are conference foes Cory Clark of Iowa (No. 1),  Nathan Tomasello of Ohio State (No. 2), and Zane Richards of Illinois (No. 3). The Big Ten also features Michigan’s Stevan Micic (No. 8), Penn State’s Jared Cortez (No. 9), Rutgers Scott Delecchio (No. 11), and Michigan State’s Austin Eicher (No.17).

This will make for a very tough conference slate for Montoya, but we will see if he can pick up where he left off.
